A little bit about me and why I love telling love stories
I was asked recently by Byron Bay Weddings, a leader in the Byron Bay wedding industry, to give some tips for couples who are choosing their celebrant.
This is one of their questions:
Tell us a little about yourself and what attracted you to becoming a celebrant?
Being a celebrant is a passion for me and just happens to be my job too.
After a career as a General Manager and business owner in branding and graphic design in Melbourne, I gave birth to our daughters in 2009 and 2011, after moving to Byron Bay with my husband.
Everything changed. I wanted real life unforgettable experiences with amazing people.
I’m 42 now and with 5 years solid experience being a celebrant, I have had so many wonderful moments being at the core of a couple’s passage of love, in the moment of marriage.
These flashes of life offer love, humour, emotion, excitement, tears & laughter. The experience really is teeming with every emotion of life, right there, before my eyes.
I love it and walk away from every wedding feeling pumped.
Who wouldn’t love being a love curator and ‘party starter’?!
